THE WRITING QUALITY IS SO GOOD!! there a few things I would have maybe reordered plot-wise(or put in part two instead of part one), but in general it was a really good book and I feel like it covered a lot of topics really well.
UPDATE: I finished the book a few hours ago and looking back I think that I ran with the really beautifully written parts to make up for the fact that this book was kind of all over the place. It was trying to be too many things in a lot of ways and a lot of the "major" plot points were really out of place compared to some of the others. I initially rated it 4.75 and have since dropped it to 3.5. Would probably be below a 3 without the writing quality it has even though the plot is all over the place.
