Fantastic fanfic, fandom, convention & cosplay centered romantic comedy! Loved the disability and plus size representation. Great read!

This is 3.5 ⭐️. I loved the inside perspective of what it’s really like to be a fat girl in this world. The relationships with others and their well meaning “help” is a real thing.
What I didn’t really care for was the whole fanfic part of the book. It was hard to follow at times and I’m not sure it really added anything to the main storyline.

This book wasn't anything special. There were several points throughout this book where I ended up zoning out because I found the characters to be kind of boring. Maybe I'm just being a little bit too judgmental about it. The only reason it's got an extra half a star was because I really liked the characters drawing boundaries and standing up for themselves. I admired April so much for standing her ground. You go, girl.

More like 4.5. I loved the character development it has and how there's still a little angst mixed in. I love how fast paced this read is and that it has some smut in it.
