i love this book so much it has that romcom feeling that i just love. it has a lot of great characters and side characters, which you get to learn a lot about, so it makes it 10 times better. it makes you feel like you’re really there with them and friends with all of them.
Spoiler i love the fact that he fell for her first and how she always thought he thought poorly of her but really he was basically in love with her the whole time and i think the timing that he told her was just perfect and it didn’t feel forced at all
over all i loved this book it’s definitely one of my favs and i love her writing style

This book was really good. And I say it like that because, once again, this is not my go-to genre. But, once again, was a suggestion from my monthly reading group and I decided to give it a chance.

This is not a typical romance in a sense that are some really dark and heavy topics represented: domestic abuse, a cult, death... the kind of themes that are not associated when you ear the genre romance.

I really enjoyed this book. I like how dark and mysterious Gus is and how fragile and hurt January feels. And I like the way both of them decide to give each other a chance (although, sometimes, January frustrated me a lot). The best part about this book is that it shows that two people with completely opposite visions of the world can find common ground.

I really liked this book and will look for more books by Emily Henry.

Great book! Super cute and easy to read. I would highly recommend reading it if you’re in a reading slump. I’m a little sad at how the relationship progressed so fast at the end of the book, but other than that it was a beautifully written book that I would recommend to friends who enjoy romance books or books about finding your way in life after loss. Amazing character development and relationship building.
