Sci-fi thrillers are not my usual read and I must admit that I put off reading this for a good while... but I'm so glad I finally picked it up! It suffers moments of "white man writing minorities and sapphic relationships" but I'll oversee it this time. This is perfect if you're in the mood for something fast-paced, gritty yet funny, with surprisingly fleshed out characters despite the heavy plot and shortness of only 350-odd pages.
