This was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster.

I knew from the first book that fmc had burn scars, but didn't realize that mmc had his own scars from military history.

I love a scarred hero/heroine so this was right up my street. Bruno was a sweetheart and really rooted for him.

I did get a little irritated with how much the characters would change their minds.

The back stories of both characters were well written and kept you hooked.

I also really loved the relationship but Bruno and his two friends. definitely made me want to read the next book in the series

That was good. Mildly frustrating with the miscommunication but it was quickly resolved each time and goodness...down to 98% before the best bit. Wow!
