Pretty humorous, a lot of witty banter, which is on par for Shakespeare. The cast just doesn’t have the depth of character that some of Shakespeare’s plays have, and though it’s a pretty funny story, it’s not one of my favorites.

Much better than The Taming of the Shrew.
I appreciated the characters much more, I appreciated the plotline, I liked our good discussions in class, and I really liked the ending act and its focus on seeing with your imagination. I think that is a really good way to move through life.

when he said “Lord, what fools these mortals be!” he was talking about me, because i have no idea what just happened.

It was so nostalgic to re-read this, it took me back to my middle school days, and I understood the plot, themes, and metaphors much more than I did as a pre-teen. It was so easily a 5-star read, it's witty, funny, petty, chaotic, I can't explain in words how amazing it was.
