Ian, Carina and baby Audrey are so cute.
But Ian did carry in some parts of this book.
What happens when a playboy meets a well organized woman? And into that mix, a hookup brings into an accidental pregnancy? Will it fit?
This author sure did make it.
When Carina wants to keep her distance with him, Ian is the man who wants her and their baby by his side and become a family.
I really like Carina. She was so solid, free, and didn't let others mistreat her. She knows how to rule her life. Whereas, lan is a hawt ass-dilf that carried this book. No lie the chemistry was good and they had this sort of push and pull: Mr & Mrs Smith vibes. Their bickering is definitely their type of foreplay. It was ozzing off the words…
I cherished how the two of them assumed liability and didn't make the circumstance more convoluted. They were full sufficiently grown to follow each other for their child, and would do anything for him/her.
But there are some scenes that have miscommunication/ lack of communication.
Which I dislike, even though I like to have some angst.
The love she has for her baby:
"I ached in every bone in my body for this baby I hadn't even met yet. But I knew I'd die loving he or she more than anything I'd ever loved.”
The story is about Carina working at the showcasing field of her dad's
business called the Wellington and Russo. Where she sees her cheating ex, Jake, even though they had an “amicable” break up, she still resents him for cheating….
Since she has been single for a quite while and her p* isn’t getting any action, her three auntie decided to set her up on a prearranged meet-up. Where she meet lan.
They had a due sexual tension while doing the photoshoot and one way lead to another and they hook up, without fully knowing each other family’s names. Few weeks passes by and Carina gets a positive pregnancy. She did try to track Ian, but in vain without his family name, it was a lost cause. It was it?
One day, eight months later, she comes face to face to Ian in a business meeting.
lan was one of the co-proprietor of the organization she was working hard for.
And thus, their both life’s mingled by a pregnancy.
Since, then we see how much Ian wanted to have a family of his own, especially when his parents weren’t as present.
The particular remarks he makes whenever they are texting:
“Send a picture of BOTH of my girls”
Even when they weren’t official. He was definitely swoon worthy:
"And when she smiled, my chest ached. My heart thundered so hard the rush of blood made me lightheaded, and I knew-right then, I knew— I loved this woman.”
Or
"I'll always be there. Even if you dont want me to be, ill always be waiting to be what you need."
The angst? Is a woman that has been in Ian’s life for years and has developed feelings for him. Hannah is Ian’s bestfriend’s little sister and who he also considered as one. Catalina knew and took notice. In a way she understand the longing and the pain, whenever she sees her ex with her partner, but on a another level, it was really disrespectful and she obviously didn’t like it.
In a way, when we get to know of Hannah’s past, I did felt very bad for her but it doesn't justify her actions in the present…

The mmc is so immature it isn’t even funny. He is constantly making everything about sex and barely about her actual feelings, he ignores her concerns about other women and does more for the comfort of the other woman then her. This story reeks of other of other women drama

when he was comforting Hannah and refused to believe carina I was so annoyed. It was plain as day and he brushed her off and let Hannah make a move on him and still didn’t make it clear he had no interest in her and I don’t think he was mad or upset at her a single bit when he should of because she made a move on a man in a relationship with a baby at home he should of put his foot down but no he didnt.
