challenging dark emotional mysterious sad tense
One of the darkest Lorraine Heath books I've ever read. Tread carefully.
But I do love James and Emma.
He was simply a man, even if he was the man she loved.

James is such a secret softy. This one just didn't pull as much at my heart strings. Can't wait for William's novella.

This was my least favorite of this series. The 1st half of the book was slow and really hard to be interested in. And the 2nd half just wasn’t as satisfying as the other books in this series.
