Loads of interesting characters fill the pages of "The Feast" and keep the story humming along. It's no spoiler to say that the author offers a clever reimagining of the Seven Deadly Sins here. Knowing this adds to the--dare I say--enjoyment of reading it. The ending feels a little abrupt to me, personally, but I was definitely drawn along through the entire book. 

I had never heard of Margaret Kennedy before. I happened to read an article from WORLD magazine with book recommendations that mentioned "The Feast," so now, of course, I'm very interested to hunt up another novel of hers.
