Guess I'm partial to Egyptian mythology, after reading books like Harry Potter & Percy Jackson, Egyptian gods wasn't a fun read, it was boring, I felt like I was reading a history book rather than a fantasy one. There's a reason Septimus Heap didn't make it big & this along the lines, only made it as far as it has, because the author is Rock Riordan. Sure, I learned something about Egypt but I think I would've learned it some other way too. Didn't interest me at all, sorry :(

Excellent book and well worth reading! It was fun and enjoyable! It also contains within its pages little tidbits about Ancient Egypt which is amazingly good! If you are a fan of Rick Riordan, the Kane Chronicles or both (hopefully both!) then you will really enjoy this book as a great addition to your bookshelf!
