Stephen Fry breathes life into these many myths, giving the characters dialogue and making these numerous stories much more digestible for the reader. What could have been a very meandering and confusing book was as concise as it could be considering the large subject matter. The audiobook is narrated by Stephen Fry himself which I enjoyed immensely.
Highly recommend if you love mythology and history, he weaves the two together through out the novel.

Please bear in mind, these are Greek myths. If you're not anticipating incest, rape, and death, i don't know what you expected. However, Fry never describes in detail any rape or sexual assault.
