"Claire survived the consequences.

Through strength and compartmentalization, Claire Nichols captivated her captor. Though Anthony Rawlings thought he taught Claire to behave, his domination became desire, and his obsession morphed into love. Or was it? When her choices pushed Anthony's relentless vendetta too far, Claire barely survived the consequences.

Discover the truth.

Now, armed with new information and more questions than answers, Claire works to uncover the truth behind the dangerous game at play. As she begins anew, she must decide whom she can truly trust, especially with a new set of players on the move.

New set of rules.

With everything to lose and a manipulative game master controlling the board, Claire and Tony duel by a new set of rules. When thrust together once again, can they learn to trust each other to overcome new dangers? Or will this be Tony's second attempt at domination? Can Claire resist the man she'd never before been able to resist? Hatred and love. Deception and truth. Old habits and new beginnings. As this real-life game of chess plays out, past sins will come to light and new secrets will be revealed. With so much riding on each move, the stakes have never been higher." (From Amazon)

I was happy that Claire got away from Tony and that she was going to get her life back...I wish that attitude had stayed because I definitely started to lose respect for Claire. Yet, not liking Claire and Tony does not make you want to stop reading Truth. The suspense and wanting to know what the heck is going on keeps you reading.

It wasn't the revenge consequence I was expecting. I found some plot points implausible and some actions unlikely for a sane person. Still, it was an okay read and I hope my expectations are met in the final book.

I suppose I would consider the better of the first two books in the Consequences series. I just started the third book, and I'm very surprised how the story has unfolded. Read this book, you will not be disappointed!

LOVE this series! Love seeing the relationship grown and change for Claire & Tony and their connection is beyond words. Even reading I find myself forgiving Tony his past and wishing for nothing more than a happy ending for these two!? Can't wait to get my hands on the next book!

These were two of the best books I have ever read with Consequences I was on an emotional roller coaster, and the emotion was anger at times sadness at times, but I could literally not put it down. With Truth some of the questions I had were answered, and I started to love Tony instead of despising him and Claire seems to have gotten what she deserved all these year for now. Can't wait for book three Convicted over a year to wait I wish it was sooner but in that time I think I will reread them both that's how much I loved them.

This book is weird in so many ways.
In the beginning I liked it. I was like: you go girl ! Tell him you hate him !!!
But then .. ohohoho ... how about no.

Aleatha Romig has knocked the ball out the park once again!!

You think you know everything....Appearances can be deceptive.

This author has completely ruined me! I have attempted not once but twice to pick up a book and have failed. Nothing is filling the void that Truth has left me with. Some questions were answered but a whole box of worms have opened in its wake.

Trust absolutely no-one nothing is what it seems!

The book opens with an earth shattering prolouge that takes us to the reasons behind Claire's pardon

I loved the back stories of Tony's family. It made everything so much clearer.

I had emotions of pure rage towards a certain character, serious steam out of the ears rage. A lot of tearful moments also.

How in the hell am i supposed to wait for convicted now. I have so many questions that are still unanswered. Remember appearances are everything. Every action has a consequence!!!

I have to say I cant handle what truth did to me!! Consequences blew me away but truth put a whole new perspective for me on this book. I was totally in a love relationship with this book till the end and aaaaugh! BAMM! a cliffhanger. Why must we suffer cliffhangers!! I loved it and I hope its not too long before the final book. I look forward to the next one.
