Miscommunications (multiple times!!!!) made me want to shout at the characters to just have a lil chat and solve all their problems. Bleh

Another stellar entry in the Rules of Scoundrels series--MacLean crafts incredibly compelling characters who you can't help but root for

I liked it, but it needed more romance for me to love it. I never really got the passion from them because their backstory means they hate each other for most of the book. If she didn’t keep it from him from their second meeting they would have had more time for relationship, but most of the book is him being mad at her so there’s not really any time for good feelings.

Yes Mara framed him for her murder. She deserves the world and I will defend her endlessly. Also one of Sarah MacLean's best books (a bold & perhaps controversial claim but one I stand by)
