This book scratched an itch for me. I can never resist two broken characters helping each other heal. Nino was so patient with Kiara. One of my favorite tropes is the "dangerous man, gentle lover", and this book DELIVERS! Their relationship is more of a slow burn which I appreciated.

Pretty good book - was not expecting it to be so full of smut (my cousin recommended it to me), but it ended up being pretty okay. Not my favorite romance, as it felt a little forced at times, but overall I liked it. Take this with a grain of salt, as I am not someone who usually reads romance :)

Damn. This was darker than my usual choice but I really enjoyed it. I love a woman that can revive a dead heart. This was the greatest reaction to “who did this to you”. The way Nino heals Kiara is perfection. Check those TW - this isn’t for the faint of heart.

Only the narrators saved this. 

Nino I like him at the beginning and then no. I thought this will be more mafia but is not. 

And Kiara annoys me with all her questions. Enough with the bland innocent mafia girls. When we are going to have someone that is not dumb, or plays the piano o is a bloody ballerina, what’s the deal??? You only can date a mafia guy if you are an idiot?
