I was living for the second chance angst. I’m prone to getting annoyed but the fact that Rain was more self-aware than expected was great. The mystery aspect of the novel was fun too, the author was skilled at keeping me guessing.

I have a soft spot for the mix of PNR and the FBI apparently. I really liked the lighter touch of paranormal in this and more focus on the relationship and character development. Definitely sole grumpy/sunshine and self imposed forced proximity which I love
