This was the palate cleanser I needed. What a great Middle Grade book. Very much a Men In Black mixed with Harry Potter, but with diversity, intrigue, it touches on racism and elitism, and there’s a strong focus on friendship. I can’t wait to read book 2

I loved this book. I wish I had read them more back to back, so that it wouldn’t have taken me so long to get back into. There are so many great vibes and I really enjoyed it. I just root for Amari so hard and this had Harry Potter book 6 vibes of isolation for her. I also just want Dylan to be redeemed. I can’t wait for the continuation of the series!
