It is very choppy and jumps around a bit. I did like hearing his perspective in his own voice

In his prime, Bobby was so fine. LOL. I was a huge fan of Whitney growing up and remember all the flack he took for her misfortunes. I wish things would have ended differently for Whitney and Krissi. I honey feel the Houston’s are evil for their part of Whitney and Krissi’s pain.

I’m glad Bobby is doing better, even though he still mourns the passing of Whitney and Krissi. I enjoyed his story and his BET movie. I wish him nothing but love, good health, and happiness.

The writing was pretty terrible yet comical at times, but the whole Whitney and Bobbi Kristina story is heartbreaking. Good for him for pulling himself out of it.

Bobby remains the King of R&B. I knew I would love this book going in and it didn't disappoint.

I can honestly say that I like this autobiography , I do have to pin point some things! I never knew whitney's famly was that cruel but I surely can believe it they had a family member who was the money maker so they had to protect At all cost. Poor Bobbi Kristina didn't stand a chance at life growing up in the type of enviornment that she did, especially with early partying and the injustices of Nick. I always looked at Bobby Brown a certain way but after reading this book my aspect of him totally changed ! Hollywood and fame is a hell of a drug , I dont think I ever want to experience that Lifestyle, It's not worth it at all.

I really liked this book. Very honest and definitely interesting. I listened to the audible version, and while I enjoy hearing straight from the author, Bobby's reading was... interesting.

Interesting story (of course, it's Bobby Brown), but the writing is just unbearable. It's like being in a family gathering and listening to your drunk uncle's exaggerated stories that you already heard thousands of times. Awful. Just awful.

Brought me back! I was very excited about, roughly, the first half of this book. The early performances, life before New Edition and in the early stages there, the split. Funny, ridiculous, and poignant. The first person narrative broken up with insights from other key people was a nice touch.

The story became less interesting for me after the marriage to Whitney. The writing style was similar, but seemed to focus more on refuting what was in the media than telling an interesting story. I wonder if my own lens has something to do with that. New Edition Bobby was a famous musician. Hugely famous no doubt, but very much in one sphere. Bobby and Whitney were different -- in the media, on Oprah, on reality TV. A wider range culturally.

Cocaine chicken was new. Walking out of the funeral was not. I'm less interested in rehashing old tabloid headlines. Even if his retelling is 100% accurate, I didn't care then, don't care now. They were in love, had a lot of sex, did a lot of drugs, had some life struggles.

First half buoyed the second, but it was a good quick read for those of us of a certain age bracket.
