Very nice picture book for younger readers that tells the story of the development of the Mars Rover, the mission to Mars, and its landing/function on the planet. Laid out well, in understandable language, which I am hopeful will spark interest in science and space among young readers.

This was a wonderful elementary kids picture book with great illustrations and information about the Mars rover Curiosity as well as an overview of the history of unmanned space flight as a way to prepare for manned space exploration. My 1st and 3rd grader were fascinated.

This book was deceptive when you look at it. It appears to be a picture book about the Mars Rover, but really it is more for 3rd or 4th grade readers. The pictures are beautiful. The information in the book is great. I learned a lot of new things about the Curiosity, but didn't feel overwhelmed by a downpour of information. This would be a great reference for a class project.

Fabulous text about the Curiosity Mars rover. I love that it’s narrated by the rover itself, which gives a unique voice and perspective to the story.

My class are still grumbling about the "unfairness" of a massive rocket leaving Earth and only Curiosity getting to land on Mars

A winner! I have loved the format, and the illustrations, though I also yearned for a few photos.
