I am addicted to the Hope Falls series by Melanie Shawn but for some reason I never picked up the Wishing Well, Texas series. I can't believe how much I have missed out on. I will be buying book after book until I have read them all.

The books are full of recurring characters that I can't wait to fall in love. Every couple has issues, but they are believable issues. Supporting characters, parents and shop owners, add to the stories. I just want to fall in the pages and become a resident of Wishing Well.

Really quite enjoyed this one, sadly it was a bit rushed for my taste, i would have liked to have seen Cara figure out how to deal with Trace in a socail setting without guving it up.
How on earth did Trace not know his brothers office wall didn't reach the ceiling? Also them yelling at each other, then the spontaneous proposal and acceptance and then that was the end... Where was thwm being out in public woth each other? Where was Colton? What does he think? It was just rushed so much especially at the end.

Convincing Cara was awesome; I loved the childhood crush theme in this book.

Cara and her friends cracked me up, they really have each other’s backs and it's sweet how they wanted to help Cara pop her cherry. Her list hahaha how perfect that she described Trace to a tee! All but that one deal breaker.

I enjoyed the chase Trace had to go through it was fun to see him sweat it out just a little. But that he woke up in the end and made his feeling known. There wasn’t this long drown out thing it was what it was.

Her dates were hilarious and if that is how it is nowadays I am so glad I am happily married. Lol

I really, really, like Virginia Rose’s voice how she brings you into the story I like it all and Aiden seriously if you haven’t heard a book by him you’re missing out.

A quick and cute read. No drama. Just a sweet story about two friends who have been in love with each other all their lives finally figuring things out.

This is the 2nd book in a great series.

Cara McCord and Trace Briggs grew up together. She is best friends with his sister, Harmony. He know works on her brother's ranch.

Cara is cancer free after battling leukemia and she is now on a mission. Her best friends Destiny and Harmony set her up on dates to help her out in her quest.

Trace has always been in the background watching over Cara and desperately wants each of Cara's dates to be failures. This guy is simply amazing.

They are both afraid of taking that next step with each other.

This is such a good, feel good read and very well written.

I love getting to spend more time with Destiny and Harmony too.

Can't wait for book 3!

You see, the thing is, I am looking ( almost constantly ) for a series that has a Kristen Ashley/CP Smith/Devney Perry small town romance ( with some sexiness ) vibe. I am struggling.

There is a lot to like about this. I like the humongous family at the centre. I like the fact that the characters appear to be rolling through into the next book.

There are things that I don't particularly like. The men all seem to be man-whores... and make no qualms about it, whilst the women... aren't. I didn't like his 'rotating line-up'... says a lot more about him than them. FFS, can't he just tell Lizzy she is out of the rotation and block her number? I don't like Harmony... I don't get the popular culture references... for something that has been written in the last 5 years or so, with characters who are in their early 20's... many of the references seem out-dated. I had to google some of them as they made no sense in the context of the story. I am guessing that the writer is probably in her late 40's/ 50's ( just looked at the bio - see that it is actually two sisters... that makes even more sense as it feels like two different female voices telling the story ) as so many are of that kind of time period. It, for me, takes away from the story-telling when I am having to work out who Fred Rogers is.

Other things that I do quite like... the general tone.
