This would be a 4 star book, but I’m quite exhausted by the constant fatphobia, slurs and rampant misogyny of King’s books. The story is excellent and on par with what I come to expect from his storytelling. Since I’m reading these in publication order I have no idea if all this problematic shit stops in later decades. I want to believe it does, so if anyone knows, please give me hope.
