Phoenix is a hacker with a grudge on her shoulders and a chance where the FBI needs her help turns into an opportunity to get the vengeance she craves. The main target is the Levin family Russian Mafia (Bratva) who destroyed her life and family. Until she destroys them she feels her nightmares will never stop. Aleksander Levin the second to the head of the Bratva and the second oldest brother is confronted by Phoenix. Though he's amused by her the threat that she throws out is still a threat and now someone he has to eliminate. Aleksander was told to find a wife in the next two months and as a bloody beaten Phoenix drops into his hands he has found a solution to both problems. By killing two birds with one stone he marries his enemy and the threat is eliminated. Phoenix whole world get turned upside down and there is nothing she can do about it.

This story had me really enthralled and just fascinated with how Aleksander handled Phoenix emotional and physical issues thrown at him. Where she felt shame at the aspect of her sexual experiences he just learned and he gave her what she needed it was next level deep. Every damn time I question my libido as to why wanting a dangerous mafia person is bad here comes another book that just gets me hot and bothered and I'm like why not! The sex was out of this world amazing and Aleksander was a total Alpha Daddy indeed.

I love Bratva stories, and I loved the age gap in this as well.
Dual POV will always be a favorite of mine and it was executed perfectly.
Being able to see the different sides of everything, it makes you feel more involved in the story and all of the emotions that the characters are experiencing.
Now with that being said, check your triggers with this book.
It does get heavy at times, and some people might not like all the tropes in this book, but I found it to be a good read that I easily slid into and kept me engaged and entertained the whole way through.
The spice stays and you can definitely see that these two main characters are complete end game regardless of past issues, and that they will face anything together.

Solid read. (Would of probably in one day if things didnt come up that caused me to put my kindle down)
Solid recommendation.

Murphy's writing keeps getting better in my not so humble opinion. I can't wait for her next one. Having said that, this book is probably my least favorite, and that's on me, not her. The whole "daddy" thing is totally not my kink; if it's yours, I highly recommend this book. Do be warned the story is laden with the dark topic of sexual child abuse, so if that's a trigger, definitely stay away from this book.

Bratva Romance

Phoenix is out to take the Lev Mafia out because of what they have done to her and her family and for human trafficking . However she doesn’t know that they put an end to their father’s involvement in the trade .When she meets Aleksander they both feel a pull to one another but she detests him that is until she has no one to turn to but him and now she’s stuck between a rock and a hard place . This is my first book from Fiona Murphy it took me a while to get into because I was in a bit if a slump but when I did I devoured it.
