A very nice addition to the series, it was nice to see things from another characters view. Would highly recommend.

I cannot believe I caught up on the entire Skyward series in less than two weeks! This series has solidified itself as a favorite, and I can’t wait to read Defiant in November!
Evershore brings together so many plot threads that have been brewing throughout all of the Skyward Flight novellas, and it does so in such a masterful way. Brandon Sanderson really is a master storyteller.
The slugs shine SO MUCH! I love the slugs. If the slugs have no one in their fan club, I am dead.
There’s not much else I can say without spoiling this book or earlier ones, but what I can say is READ SKYWARD! 5 stars.

Found Family, Romance Subplots
“Sometimes people are going to make bad choices, and there’s nothing we can do about it.” “That sucks,” I said. “It’s the worst!” FM said. “But it’s not your fault.”
“Some things are under your control, and others aren’t. You do the best you can with what you have to work with. And that is what sets you apart—what you do with it.”
“I tried to give you the story you needed, but perhaps you’ve found your own story after all.”

As they are novellas they are fast, action packed, and wonderfully paced. Yet again Suzy Jackson shows her depth and abilities with the narration, and I’m glad they didn’t pick someone else to do this Jorgen-centric one. I can’t wait to own the hardcover collected version that comes out later this year.
