This had potential and great premise but it just felt bleak and dark, compared to how it has been advertised. I did enjoy it and think the 3 acts were well written it just seemed a little unfinished and the ending underwhelming.

I really enjoyed the idea of the book- and that I simply didn’t expect it to go the way it did! Plot twists/dramatic reveals were done brilliantly & my heart strings were certainly tugged at.
However, I found the start super slow and almost DNF during the first part. The pacing felt pretty rollercoaster overall.
I’m also on the fence about the sudden POV change in the final third part.

This book had an interesting premise but was filled with unnecessarily long descriptions of EVERYTHING, which made it hard to immerse in the world and to connect to the characters.
