I read this for a leadership program, and we talked about it in relationship to victims, survivors, and what civic leaders owe to oppressed people. I found this book challenging to read, in terms of language and writing style, as well as due to the subject matter. It was a valuable insight into the experience of those enslaved at concentration work camps.

It is difficult to think about anything to say for a book like this. But the eye for detail, together with the dry tone and the consideration of the world. Should be required reading for anyone who believes the Just World Fallacy.
