This book made me so angry. The protagonist embodies patheticism, and his whole life can only be described as futile.

Borrowed this as an ebook so I wasn’t able to highlight any of the beautiful language. If I had a physical copy you could probably see it from space from all the highlighting.

Instead, what I do is copy the quotes that speak to me into my notes app. Compared to other such book quote notes, this one is probably the longest. I’d try and narrow it down but it really isn’t possible.

Yes, the book also has flaws. It took me a really long time to get used to the main narrator. I didn’t care for the Coda chapter much. The plot twist is quite predictable. I thought the ending was a bit odd. But I pretty much devoured the last two thirds of the book and I just can’t get over how beautiful the author illustrates his thoughts.
