I mean... there are bugs. GIANT BUGS! Up until there I wanted to live in this world, but now, no thank you. Other than that, I love this story! I can’t wait for vol. 3.

Aw, come on, evolution in insects is fast, but it truly cannot be that fast. Random mutations don't accumulate that rapidly through a whole population.
The whole premise of this story is nuts, after all, so I shouldn't be surprised.
I do like Edison, though. I'll read the third volume to finish out the story, I guess.Â

I'd give this a 3.5 rounded up.
My feelings after reading this volume are similar to how I felt after the first. I think the artwork is solid, the story is intriguing, but the pacing is a bit off. I'll likely keep reading, given that there is more good than bad to take away from this. I really loved the inclusion of the giant, no gravity bugs (super terrifying concept to think about) and Barrow's farm. I don't think enough time or attention was given to that group. I would have liked the author to explore the characters on the farm a bit more and develop them further.

Still a good premise, but I wasn't as big on this volume. Somehow in only the 20 years without gravity, most insects have evolved to be the size of horses. They handwave it away with the claim that it could happen so fast because they have such short lifespans, but it defies credulity.
