An accessible narrative about the need for government action to save U.S. farmers and the food supply in the 1930s. Erosion was destroying farmland, Congress was meh about taking action, and then they were literally slapped in the face with a giant dust storm. It’s still discouraging when people need their faces rubbed in something before understanding the need to act. Unfortunately almost a century later, people are still unwilling to face changes that need to be made.
