Luke is some HOTNESS!!! Ava, while getting a bad rap from other reviews I've read, really demonstrates our insecurities as women all the while continuing this fabulous story!

This book was OK. I really enjoyed it, but in my opinion not as good as the first book.

Ava was just too annoying for words, I don't like indecisive people, i especially don't like when they chose to convince themselves the wrong decision is right while knowing it wrong. Oi! see what i have to deal with? ANNOYING!

I have to say though I found Good Ava hilarious, she should be written as a full character.

Part of a Series Review

Overall Thoughts: I am in the minority where Rock Chick Revenge by Kristen Ashley is concerned. Everybody else LURVED it!.

It had my least favorite troupe ever though: Girl loses weight and get the guy (and then like 4 more falling all over her). I think it demeans both characters but that is just me. Otherwise the action was great! The humor was there and freaking hilarious! The over the top TSTL combined with Spirit (which I normally hate but oddly works for this series) was there. Luke was hot!

I also noticed that this where that other trend of introducing a guy that will be a love interest later trying to get the gal in the book that is not his really started to grate on my nerves. Luke with Roxie and Jules. Vance with Roxie. Now Ren with Ava. I am not a huge fan of that because it makes it seem like they are settling later. I couldn't blame Ava when she blew her top in this book and I think she got over it a little too quick. Hopefully I won't feel that way when Ren's book comes up.

Status while Reading:

07/03 39.0% "Also does every woman in here have to be the same exact size. I mean it is like you can't get one of these guys unless you can borrow Tod's clothes. Like I said a trigger subject for me."

For anyone who has ever struggled with body image, weight or disordered eating, this book could be pretty damaging. Tasteless diet culture references and horrible “fat girl” stereotypes. Really off-putting, shame on this author for this one.
