A good insight on being gay in 1910s from a author from that time. It's sad knowing that Foster wrote this knowing the book was never published in his lifetime.
I liked the Character of Maurice, he wasn't a great guy..but he felt like a well fleshed out and his suffering was felt. I liked the contact between Maurice coming to terms with his gayness while Clive stayed hidden.
It's sad seeing how Clive is so far in the closet he's reached Narnia.. I feel bad for his wife

Pacing issues that had me putting it down and not coming back for awhile. The writing is beautiful at parts though, and the HEA in both romance and self-worth is *chefs kiss*
