I read the first few issues of this, but they were such quick reads I thought I'd like it better in trade form. I'm glad I waited. It's a fun relaunch of the classic series. The first few issues benefit greatly by Fiona Staples work, but the artwork in the latter half isn't bad. It gets the job done. The story is fun. If you're interested in the characters because of Riverdale, you won't find any of the brooding of that series here. I like Riverdale a lot, but I wish Jughead in that series would take after this comic Jughead more. He's a fun character as presented here. I do feel like there could be a little more meat here character or plot-wise to really make one want to read the next volume, but right now it's certainly a fun read.

Wasn't a big fan of the story (but this is considering the fact that I've never ever read any of the Archie comics so I don't really know if that's how Archie comics are set up), but the art was awesome.

I wasn't the biggest fan of Riverdale when I first watched it but I have recently decided to re try and I loved it! So obviously when I saw this graphic novel on Amazon I just had to get it.

I will say it's not like full of plot. Not much happens in this one but tbh I'm okay with that as I'm sure things will kick up as the series carries on. It's so weird seeing how different the story is and even how different the characters are in this compared to the show but I like seeing these different sides to them.

It's fun, it's quirky and I'm looking forward to reading more

Having not read the original Archie comics or having watched Riverdale, I was very intrigued going into this and I was pleasantly surprised. It had a relaxed and low-key but intriguing storyline, which was not at all what I'd expected after having heard bits and pieces about the TV show. I absolutely adored the art style and the bold colour scheme and I'm very much looking forward to continuing with this series and getting to know the cast of characters more, as I have a feeling they're going to be a lot of fun.

One of my favourite writers, with one of my favourite artists making a high school teenage drama. How could I not love this
