Dead Tomorrow is the first book I've read by Peter James and while it ticks most of the boxes, it wasn't particularly captivating. I liked the realistic element and you can tell that a lot of research has gone on to produce this story with some accuracy but I can't help that that somehow detracted from the enjoyment of the story. I don't need a happy ending but I did come away feeling a little hollow.

Very gripping. A lot of short snappy chapters that make is ideal to pick up and put down. But you also don't want to put it down

1.5 en realidad. Hay demasiadas tramas y demasiada 'paja' para lo que es en realidad el libro.

3.5 stars - I am happy I discovered this well-written detective series. I like Roy Grace and the way he leads his team. The premise of this book is very intriguing and the ending had me on the edge of my seat. I would have given the book a higher rating, but some of the graphic scenes about human traffickers were hard for me to read. It is a horrendous, very real situation, but I think that point could have been communicated without all of the details.

People trafficking, organ trafficking, horrible industry so unsavoury content in this book...however...page turning and a definite ramp up in tension
