I feel a little disappointed by this book.

It wasn't fiery enough for me

First things first - the title of this book is all wrong! No one was sold. At all. Weird choice of title.

Now on to the good bits-

Lucy and Jax had a 6 week fling 2 years earlier until Jax learned some unsavory things about Lucy and dumped her. When she learned she was pregnant with his child, she tried to reach him. All her calls were refused and she was physically thrown off of his yacht and called a awful names by members of his security team. Jax even got her fired and kicked out of her apartment, leaving her pregnant, with no money and homeless.

Then they meet over 2 years later and Jax is furious at seeing her again. He bullies her into meeting with him, attempts to have sex with her all while treating her like she’s scum off the bottom of his shoe.

The truth about their child eventually comes out. There is blackmail involved, a wedding, some smoking hot sex, 2 meddling old men who make things so much worse and 2 newly found sisters who swoop in and save the day.

I had fun reading this one too. Lynne Graham did an awesome job when she created the Dixon sisters. They are no pushovers. Like her sisters before her, Lucy is a firecracker. She takes no nonsense and stands up to her man.

I enjoyed the “secret baby” and the “second time around” tropes. This was a lovely ending to a really good series.

Interfering feuding family members. Lies about the heroine's background. Secret baby.
