Read this for a class. I won’t lie, I kind of hated it. His points about death in relation to photography and viewing photos of those already dead were interesting but the rest of it felt like a slog to get through.

Really enjoyed this, some interesting discussions and thesis points that I'm interested to see how they might incorporate into my work

I enjoyed this so much more than I was expecting! I liked the personalized phenomenological outlook and appreciate theory that is somewhat subjective. The practical applications of these concepts are tricky, but I look forward to returning to this text.
