I've truly never read anything like this before, and I was actually scared and had my jaw on the floor several times! Great social commentary with a plot that keeps you hooked. I would recommend reading the TWs since there are several social issues addressed that could be hard for some to read. Read this!!!

This was traumatizing in the best way. It’s like not knowing you’re on fire until you’re literally burning🔥 Ten out of ten. It’s so well written. Black characters really deserve happy endings! My jaw is on the floor. The ending needed a bit more but…

This was so moving. I recommend so many people to read this. It’s amazing and twisted. And tells you a lot about our systems today. Warning, check the trigger warnings before reading if you’re pretty sensitive to these kinds of topics. But I still think it should be read since the world isn’t alll good in real life. Fiction mirrors reality sometimes.

This book definitely lived up to the hype! I went into this book knowing nothing and so I was finding out all the information with the characters as the book progressed, which really added to the tension. 

I do wish that the “thriller” aspects of the book had started just a little bit earlier as it did take me a bit to get into the book, but once things started unfolding I was hooked!
