A few things:
1) this was fantastic
2) it was also too long
3) the media and twitter hysteria and the one star reviews without actually reading it were predictably wrong about the content of the book

این مجموعه یه جوری شروع شد که من با خودم فکر میکردم از خیلی کتابای جنایی پایین تره.
جلد دو کمی بهتر شد، جلد سه رو واقعا دوست داشتم. جلد چهارم یکم سقوط کرد دوباره ولی این جلد واقعا عالی بود.
فضای داستان، کاراکترای جانبی، داستانی که پشت پرونده بود همه عالی بودن و تا اینجا کتاب پنجم تونست انتظارات منو برآورده کنه.

Kept me guessing right until the end, and the characters of strike and Robin are so well rounded I sped through this book. I usually hate mystery novels but this series has been a captivating twist on an otherwise tired genre.
I understand the anger at jk Rowling but am perplexed with the anger at the book itself.
Spoilers: The killer was a woman, there were several positive portraits of gay characters, and no transgender characters. There is a serial killer who dressed as a woman as a disguise to trap victims but it was a disguise not part of who he was.
Overall I give this book a thumbs up. Putting the authors unrelated troublesome comments aside.
