Misogyny and horror are not interchangeable. For those most part, this is a collection of all the hideous things men think of doing to women. There are a few decent entries. But they don’t make up for how hateful the rest of them are.

Some stories are fun, a lot of good ideas poorly executed, one story is very offensive: involving sexism, anti-choice sentiments, with a dash of cannibalism for flavor. A mid read that wants so badly to be Creepshow but is really just that shitty Twilight Zone reboot from the 80s
Graphic: Religious bigotry, Toxic friendship, Gore, Medical trauma, Mental illness, Sexual violence, Vomit, Cannibalism, and Death
Moderate: Rape

2.5*. Decent anthology though I don't know if I'd classify any of the stories as horror. The cover is creepier than any of the contents. The story Rocket Man seemed very familiar to me. I think Bradbury had a not entirely dissimilar story of a man building a rocket ship. Though different ending if I remember correctly. The second story Nice Neighborhood was definitely my favourite of the collection about overdrugged seniors forming gangs and terrorising young women. Wolf Girl Eats was interesting and I liked the ending. Nice sense of irony.
Art wise I didn't really like any of the styles in this issue. They just weren't my thing.
Hopefully the following issues focus more on the horror.

A pretty decent anthology - nothing amazing. The only real standouts were the Greg Rucka and Bob Fingerman stories. I can't remember seeing much of Fingerman's stuff outside of his standalone work, so that was a nice change of pace - and his story was clever.

Very short stories that were too short to really develop into anything worth reading.
