I think it’s a good book for men to read; however, I was triggered frequently from the frustrations of already having reflected on these topics from a young age due to being a woman. It’s baffling that men haven’t been as reflective…

It's fine. I got bored reading it and the library loan expired. it was unrelatable.

Loved the beginning. As it went on, just a bit too religious for my taste.

I mean… there’s nothing really wrong with the book, it’s just that it’s been built to be this incredible thing about men not needing to be huge bulging masses of masculinity, which it does a decent job of, but is this really the bar we are setting? It really doesn’t seem like there’s anything particularly revolutionary about what Justin talks about. And I really wish he would have kept his faith out of it… makes it sound like you can’t be a good person if you’re an atheist… literally has parts that assume everyone is a believer in some form of magical man in the sky… oh, and you need to get married and have kids. If I keep writing I’ll change my rating to one star. :)

Honestly I did not read chapter 7, I just skimmed some of it. I think the book is better if you stop there.
