Omegaverses are becoming an obsession. I've read so many of them this year, and there are some that I obsess over and others that fall flat. I ended up picking one up because Sarah Blue writes it! The first omegaverse book I ever read was earlier this year, One Pucked Up Pack and Blue also wrote it. It was a fantastic book, and I've been dying to read more by Blue, but I just got around to it when I saw this new release pop up. I'm super curious to see what happens in this one. In this one, we are focusing on Luna as she's trying to find a way to break free from her living situation. She's an omega living with her mom and stepdad, and they are honestly horrible to her. I don't think the stepdad means to be, but he never stands up to her mom, so she's struggling. The one person who might be on her side is her stepbrother, but he no longer lives there and has been keeping the family at a distance. Anyways since she's an omega, her options are limited. She can find a pack or someone willing to give her a job. She ends up at Lavender Moon, a strip club! It was so much fun watching her work there because she became more confident in herself and believed there was hope for a future where her mom wasn't controlling her. She's not forced to find a pack since the only pack she wants is the one that she can't have. She's trying to save as much as possible but has to keep this new job a secret because her family wouldn't allow her to work there if they knew. It just so happens that her stepbrother's pack owns it! Seeing all of this come out and how they took over this situation was wild. I love seeing Luna's connection to her brother's pack, and I have to say they were freaking amazing. It was the first time she felt loved, and it was amazing.

Now obviously, it's taboo. Not only is it an omegaverse we also have the step-sibling angle. However, they never really lived together. By the time Luna's mom married Ian's dad, I believe he was already an adult or at least living with his pack because of the way they talked about each other, so I had a hard time remembering the whole step-sibling angle after we got past the first part of the book and she's staying with the pack. It's like they also forget about it once they all start accepting her. Another cool thing about this book is that the pack already has an omega, James. James isn't your typical omega. He likes to be on his own and is not super lovey. But I love his connection with Luna. These two were so adorable! Overall, I loved the book; it was a lot of fun, but I still prefer One Pucked Up Pack. I need to read more omegaverse books to figure out what I dislike and don't like and see more of this trope.
