As hooks go, the Blue Dragon Society is certainly at the top of its game and, thankfully, the writing from S. Faxon more than lives up to the bargain of such an intriguing premise, boasting compelling characters and sumptuous world-building.
Come for the dragons, stay for the vampire slaying, and beg for more. Just like I did.
