Very science oriented. For someone not in that community like me, it was described very well, and there weren't any loopholes. The story was good, and the action was excellent

Very good read. Tense and delightful moments drive the story, very attention-catching. The author succeeds on create an amusement feeling involving the encountes with the creatures.

Originally, I picked this up because I enjoyed the movie a lot. However, I ended up feeling like I read something completely different. I found that while Grant is the main character in both book and movie, Ian Malcolm had the most memorable moments and flushed out philosophies than anyone else. He was definitely the most interesting character in his monologues. Also Hammond was extremely unlikely in this version and I have no pity for him.

If you like the movie, you'll love this book! Really great read. I think my only complaint about this book is at times it's hard to keep track of the characters, and who is narrating / speaking at times.

Great book about the message of "just because we can do something, doesn't mean that we should"
