I found a lot of this to be both unique and relatable. I liked the format of it, and how the story unfolded. There is a big mommy blogger/influencer/LA vibe to it that I was a little annoyed by, but overall really good!

Not a perfect memoir — Woolf tends to get real lofty and abstract — but one that happened to be very close to some life circumstances of mine. Woolf writes with searing honesty about marriage, death, sex and parenting in a way I haven’t experienced before.

This story could have been written in so many ways and in ways that likely would have made me stop reading halfway. But it was Rebecca Woolf's poetic storytelling that kept me going... she writes so beautifully even through tough and honest and real memories and feelings. I usually listen to memoirs as audiobooks to hear the author's voice and emotions, and I'm so glad I did. In a way, for me, this book made life feel so short and scary, but it also spread hope. I think how this book resonates depends on the reader. Beautifully written, thank you!

This book ripped me apart and then put me back together. It was so honest and heartbreaking, but left me with more hopefulness than I’ve had in a long time. Real life isn’t a straight line. This book shows so much of the complexity of like that very few actually acknowledge.
