This is such a cute book. I think a book that discusses fears and phobias in a light-hearted way is wonderful for any library. The book is hilarious. I love the drawings and the characters lead themselves to some fun read-aloud voices. I am so glad we have this in our library.

Love the humorous elements of this story, especially the sarcasm of the dog. Great story to show kids scary stuff might not be that scary, we're all scared of something, and ways to be brave. Pair with Orion & the Dark, The Dark, and Creepy Carrots.

I heard the author read this one aloud; Emily Jenkins does the *best* voices!

Philosophical way of looking at the stuff that scares us, great addition with the dogs doing part of the talking so its less didactic than it would be from a parent's perspective, all dialogue.

I love how the two dogs poke fun at each other in the illustrations. Adorable.
