This was a quick read with a good message. I wanted to know how this experiment was going to play out and how Ben was going to end it. I read that there is a movie made and I am curious to track it down to watch it. I would suggest and upper Middle School and High Schoolers to read this as well as any adults who have not read it already.

Nice idea.

The characters are incredibly simple. There's nothing to them, they are just there to fulfill a purpose on the story but they are not really to create it. You could replace them for people with way different personalities saying the same exact lines and it would work as terrible as the original works.

Some characters rant, all of a sudden, just because that's what they should do at that point of the story. Others worry for no good reason, just because at that point the story needs them to worry. You get the point, the characters are not part or in charge of the story. They are just tools to convey the feeling you are supposed to have at that point, according to the author.

Overall, I think this is why even if the idea is great the book is mediocre.
