Even tho the title says they’re going to die, the ending is still unexpected and saddening. The way they die made me like actually cry.

While the concept and organization is interesting, it seems like the author had to fill in the middle of the book with scattered plot ideas he had but never fully fleshed out. The ending /was quick and not so brutal. I didn't see any chemistry between Mateo and Rufus and it confused me why Mateo should be a likeable character at any other instance besides his moments with Lidia./ Definitely worth the read, but only if you want something easy.

This was definitely one of my favorite books that I have read, it was a great commentary on how we should live life to the fullest each day and our friends and family are so important in our lives. I loved the multiple POVs which gave great insight on what all the characters were thinking, the world building from the author was great as well. There was amazing character development and relationship development as well. It was very diverse and showed us real-world problems. In the end it made me cry, but DEFINITELY worth it.
