After the heavy Crichton focus of Gone and Back, this volume took the reader into the emotional states of Aeryn and Chiana. Chiana continues to struggle in the wake of D'Argo's death, while Aeryn's evolution from a stoic Peacekeeper to a nuanced, complicated individual continues. It is a satisfying volume, although the C-story featuring a never-ending strategy game between Jothee and Sikozu is not as diverting on the page as it probably would have been onscreen.

I re-read all of these in the summer while blitzkrieging for a game. I still find myself feeling about the same for the Farscape franchize comics/graphic novels as I ever did. They are sometimes well written, but the art is really sad (because I just love the show and actors so much). Some of the stories meander too much, and Aeryn's ending still gets to me in a way where I don't absolutely agree that's where she should have ended up. But it was a fun summer reread.

Excellent writing and dialogue - this reads like a new episode of the television series. The art has improved since the previous volume, although there were a few frames where the action was a little unclear.

A faithful continuation of the Farscape series! But not merely faithful, these comics are like really good episodes from the series =)
