A diverse newlywed couple faces a nightmare scenario bringing grief and anguish. One year later and a shock discovery alters the characters lives.

This story is full of raw emotion, anguish and has the fallout of living through a disaster. It touches on mental health and disability, as well as obligation to family. The writing is lovely and I enjoyed seeing a couple that came from different backgrounds (Chinese and Italian).

This couple lived in a bubble previously sharing only the bare minimum about their families as they both lived OS where you can reinvent yourself. Still I found this a little jarring but understandable in these circumstances.
