I'm so looking forward to book 4, this ended on a bit of a cliff hanger.

As usual with both Camelot and Harper Fox, this series took me away to a wonderful place full of magic, awe and a romance for the ages. I don't think the fourth book has been written yet, I can't find it listed in any of my usual haunts, but the moment I can get access to it I'll be devouring it.

I wanted MORE!
It felt like nothing really happened here, expect for Lance and Arthur reuniting THANK GOD!

I did NOT however appreciate the presence of Gwenyvere at all. All that talk about how both of them love her and how Arthur was supposed to make her pregnant and bla bla bla! Kindly piss off Gwen, because I want my Art and Lance to be each other's one and only. This put a damper on my enjoyment tbh.

I mean why should Lance be faithful and practically celibate, only sleeping with Art while Art sleeps with Gwen

The alternate telling of Arthur and Lance continues - and again the mystical tales precedence as the story itself is not that much.
However the descriptions of Lance in his descent, the pool, the wildwood, the battle etc are spot on and definitely put the reader right there.
Arthur and Lance do reconnect and by the end get a gift of days - will be interesting to see what has happened after that time has passed.

Best of the series

4 stars

This one is my favourite of the series so far. It just seemed to capture me in and keep me entertained throughout the story.

We see the guys torn apart by hasty decisions that prove to have disastrous results for each of them as they just don’t work without each other especially for Lance as he believes Arthur is through with him. Luckily for him he has a guardian who watches out for him while he deals with his grief.

We lost a couple of favourite secondary characters in this instalment but we also met the great character of Percy, who I really hope we see a lot more of in the final book.
