I wanted to read this book because I wanted to see the perspective off Hessa’s relationship from a normal and sane person. However, I really enjoyed seeing Landon’s point of view and the fact that he was having issues as well and you know was human.

Landon Gibson is in New York where there is skyscrapers, and everyone is moving 1000 miles a minute and his transition to New York University has been jarring. But he’s getting the hang of things, found a job that pays (some of) the bills, enjoys school, and only occasionally runs into his ex, Dakota. You know, the one he chose NYU for . . . before she dumped him. Luckily his best friend, Tessa, shares a (terribly small) Brooklyn apartment with him. And given the ups and downs she’s had with her own ex, she’s a good listener when he finds himself in something of a love triangle – a love knot? Whatever it is, it’s a mess. An exciting mess. Being young and finding your way in the world is hard. Landon’s always been a positive person. But such a loud, demanding city so far away from home means you only get by with a little help from your friends. And a good pair of headphones. Landon’s going to be okay . . . but the journey sure will be fun to watch. This novel is new adult contemporary romance.

I would recommend reading the after series before reading this series as a lot of Landon internal monologue is about what happens between Tessa and Hardin and Landon being stuck in between them. I love Landon – he is such a sweetheart. He is always looking out for his friends, but you can see him fighting this internal battle of wanting to be outspoken but also wants to be polite. I enjoy this storyline and I would have loved to see Hardin when he arrived in New York. But I would love to see more of Posey and her little sister as well.

I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. I would love to know how this is going to end and FYI, I am team Nora.

Just when you think the rollercoaster ride of emotions had stopped with the After series, along comes Landon & Tessa's New York adventures.

Nothing More focuses mainly on Landon trying to get through NYU life after Dakota breaks up with him, but they end up bumping into each other everywhere. Tessa has a new friend, Nora, who not only bakes, but practically lives with Landon & Tessa, and obviously likes Landon, but just like Hardin, she seems to have a complicated story.

Nothing More brought back all the frustration that I felt reading the After series. Landon/Dakota story is far more relaxed and not as tense as Hessa, but just as irritating.
