I'm not usually a big fan of anthologies but I do love horror and especially queer horror, so I gave this a go and easily enjoyed it. Though each story stands alone, a lot of overlap characters and there's a throughline that links them together.

The stories are inventive, creepy, scary and sometimes funny. Really well done characters too.

A riveting horror short story collection with queer, black representation. A quick read with characters and themes intertwined throughout the stories. Fast paced with lot of creepy, small-town shenanigans. The writing style was simple but engaging. Highly recommend!

This is an amazing collection of short horror stories by Indie author, Ryan W Kinney. They all take place in Morrington county, Maryland, and they wanted together to form an interesting story that examines gayness, society, community, and Blackness.

The author approaches each story from a different lense of horror. We've got creature features, slashers, social horror, and other. Woven together, these stories are a perfect popcorn evening of terror.
