Doing a reread ahead of the latest release. This book was good but too long for my liking, especially since a lot of the length was due to repetitive 🔥 scenes. I did really enjoy the cast of characters and the writing was great.Â

Honestly, the only reason I made it through this book was because I was stuck in A&E for 12 hours with only my kindle for company.

DNF @ 53%. Story progress was very very slow. Even with the understanding that this book was a duet, the story line was too slow to catch my attention. After skipping ahead to the end, the second book of the duet went much faster and was a better read, although not by much.
